“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.” Psalm 26:7

When God uses the foolish and faithful
Writing

When God uses the foolish and faithful

I know my calling is that of an author. A writer assigned to “publish with the voice of thanksgiving, speaking of all of God’s wonderful works.”When I am called to speak, my introverted-author personality has to take a backseat and I call on the Holy Spirit to take over.I’ve discovered that God is always faithful to give wisdom and power to the foolish of this world who respond and obey His calling.
I can only boast in Him.Last week Monday, I was amazed at how God used this introverted, foolish man to speak and lead a few hundred to surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ.
It wasn’t a church event but it was a business training event where the leaders are Christ followers and thus gave me the freedom to speak life and faith to their people. (Thank you @nathsunio and team!)Just grateful to God for His faithfulness. Happy that He remains patient with me too as I plod on to fulfill His purposes on my life and my family’s life.Reflecting on all this as I wait for my flight to Bohol for another speaking engagement..and fresh from another gig last night at the Philippine Coast Guard where another hundred also entrusted their lives to Christ.God is good. Keep on keeping on. Don’t give up on the purpose, calling and dream that God has given you.Sharing my reading for the day to encourage you:
“Since God in his wisdom saw to it that the world would never know him through human wisdom, he has used our foolish preaching to save those who believe.Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes or powerful or wealthy when God called you.Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful.God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important. As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God. Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord .”
