I have to admit that I did pray and wish that my latest book, The Happy Entrepreneur, would find its way to the Top 10 Best Seller list again like my two last books (Real Men are POGI, #5 and Ang Pera na Hindi Bitin, #1).

But I had some doubts whether people would appreciate the new format and genre that I chose for The Happy Entrep… A fictional story of a young desperate entrepreneur, Eddie, who finds a God sent mentor, Timmy, who guides Eddie and introduces him to real life, non fictional, entrepreneurs like John Gokongwei Jr, social entrep Illac Diaz, Dylan Wilk of Human Nature, Entrep Champ Paolo Tibig, farmer Dodong Cacanando and more.

But then, readers kept on sending me good reviews–quite a number said the book made them laugh and cry and that God was speaking to them through the book.

I figured my job was done, whether or not my book got to the best seller list.

So I was hopping for joy while holding my baby Elijah when my editor vibered me the picture of National’s Top 10 Best Sellers list for February and encircled number 2: The Happy Entrepreneur!!!
