Well, I don’t know if you could call them “letters” anymore in the old fashioned way. No one gets hand written letters anymore. You know pen and paper kind of letters.
As an author, I get private messages or PMs, emails and the like in my inbox. Here’s one that’s pretty simple, but encouraging:
“Good morning Sir. We are truly blessed with your message yesterday on our church at Crossworld. Thankyou po for making me realized na there’s hope from fornication to salvation. Salamat po … Gusto ko rin pong maging isang manunulat para sa Panginoon. I pray na magamit din po ako ng Panginoon para sa kabataan. Salamat po sir! Papuri lahat sa Lord. Thankyou for sharing your life to us. You are truly a blessing. God bless po! More werpa! Petmalu ka po sir!”
And then there are letters or PMs that I really needed help reading. It seems like it’s written in a different language. Like a Da Vinci code even. But I’m glad that I didn’t give up on it, because despite the form, it is heart felt.
Here it is:

And I’m happy too. (Were you able to decode that letter?)
Apologies to all those who don’t speak or read Tagalog as well.
Anyway, one thing is for sure: I love my “job”!
